Bedtime Babblings

Some people think they know who you are just because they once knew you. Some people think they know you because you are still friends. Some people think they know you because you talk to them here and there. My biggest goal in life is happiness. My priorities are set and I am determined. For you haters and stalker, please keep following me and maybe you'll learn a lesson or two on how to reach your happiness. Don't say you know me because I'm the only person who knows me best. I'm not a quitter, so don't go running your mouth when you don't know what I'm after.

*just ranting-- thanks for reading. Goodnight.

I got my TOMS

Yay...I believe it was last week when I got my first TOMS. They are soo freakin comfortable. Yea they may look cheap (loz), but at the end of the day my feet felt like they haven't walked all day =). I got the lighter grey pair. I originally wanted the navys but they weren't calling my name like the greys. I LOVE them because I personally think they are urban, cute, and for a good cause.

Rosie Gold

This look was for yesterday, and I was going for a soft golden look.

1) Urban Decay primer (spread over lids).

2) urban decay zero(black): apply on crease and it doesn't have to been clean.

* remember on the crease not lid.

3) Apply urban decay Scratch (rosie) on the lid.

4) the apply urban decay honey (gold) on top of the crease. Blend with black crease as well.

5) Add liner and mascara, also apply Scratch under eyes.

6) finish look: simple and golden.

Rose Wine

Somedays you wake up knowing exactly what you want to wear and how you want to look. Sometimes it looks better in your head than in reality. I wanted blue eyeshadow and rose wine lip color. Both colors together are dramatic and drag-like, but I did it anyways.

step 1: fresh lid w/ urban decay potion primer (spread over lids)

I'm using Mac eye shadows: Freshwater(blue) and Antiqued(brown)

2) apply Blue on the lid, brwon on top of the blue, blend together and add highlighter color on top. Lined the eyes with Mac's black track fluid liner, add mascara and blue shadow under the eyes.

Rose Wine on the lips

Finish look:

Success and Happiness

For the past week I've been debating inside my head about success and happiness. I believe that these two factors go hand-in-hand with each other. I've met many great people and I still do (everyday). I love how everyone can be the same and have similar interest, but what truly makes them different is their story. Every individual has their own story that make them different and unique from the rest.

On Monday I decided to change my life. --Of course I was nervous and scared-- but I knew it was the right thing to do. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I'm ready for this new life of mine and where it takes me. I'm very happy with my decision and I know it's something that I will not regret.

I met a lady at work and she told me that I was better off doing what I love if I wanted to be successful. Success is not how much money one has in the end. True success means being happy in the end because money can't buy happiness (and if it does it's only short-term happiness). If you're not happy at the end of your life then you've never been successful.

I also stole this quote from a myspace friend Nina "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Honestly, this quote says it all. It's true that you'll end up regretting the things you never did in life. I'm glad I'm on the right path and because I love what I do I'll never work a day in my life =)

Goodnight and thanks for reading.
